My new Language

Learning a new Language is like learning a new skill, it is not easy but with the right determination and strategy you can achieve great results even after a few months.

It is true, there are languages that are easier for us to understand and there are some that are very difficult.

But you have to approach a new language with determination as you did approach your bachelor degree in nursing: you wanted to become a nurse and to graduate, you learnt, you studied and you are now a graduate nurse. As you have successfully passed those exams, trust me, you can easily learn a new language!

Also, remember that nursing is a great profession that can allow you to travel the world and give you the best opportunity in terms of career, success and life. You just have to pick up the right place for you and go ahead to your destination! Language should not be a barrier, so… it is important for you to learn a new language!

Europe has plenty of opportunities and different cultures, you should take this as a chance to improve yourself and your skills and nothing can be more challenging than to start to learn a new language.

You also have to understand that being able to communicate with patients and colleagues is a very important and vital thing for a nurse, this is why we recommend practicing your new language as much as you can, listening, practicing and reading it so that you can start thinking in your new language.

Thinking in your new language is actually an exercise that will improve your learning and if you find it difficult at the beginning you can write down some words and use a dictionary.

Also, remember to watch as much TV and movies as possible in the language you are learning, this will improve your understanding. And, obviously, try to find a course that suits your needs!
